The FES is the way for you to contact the finance team at County Hall.
To compliment the FES we have developed some Frequently Asked Questions. Hopefully this information will help you to find instant answers to many of your questions.
If you cannot find the answer to your query on the FAQ page then contact the FES via the web form. The web form is available at the bottom of this page.
We aim to respond to your query within two working days - with a resolution or to advise you of the work involved and an anticipated date of resolution. We will endeavour to prioritise urgent queries but please ensure, where possible, that you submit your query to the Finance Enquiry Service in plenty of time.
Please note that the Finance Enquiry Service is not a replacement for the FMS Helpline or your existing arrangements for contacting Employment Support, Business Support or North Yorkshire Education Services.

- BAFS related issues ie Cash advances, VAT returns, Bank reconciliations
- Deficit budgets
