We are committed to making our website as accessible as possible to provide the best service to all in the community.

Websites that we link to

Some systems and applications that are embedded or linked to from our website use technology that is not always compliant with accessibility standards.

Often this is because the system is performing a specific job that is very difficult to achieve in an accessible way.

Accessibility issues for these systems are currently being addressed and we will ensure that any future systems adhere to web accessibility guidelines.

Compatibility with tools

Our website should be compatible with recent versions screen readers and can be navigated using only a keyboard. It should also be compatible with:

  • basic operating system screen magnifiers;
  • speech recognition software, such as Dragon Naturally Speaking; and
  • operating system speech packages.

Browser compatibility

We have developed our website to work with modern web browsers, so that we can provide our services to the widest range of customers. Over half of our visitors use a mobile phone or tablet device, for example, which means that we require a browser that supports modern standards. As a result, we do not support Internet Explorer version 7 or below.

You can download a newer version of Internet Explorer here. Alternatively, other web browsers are also available including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera. We apologise for any inconvenience.
