Charging for School Activities
Section 449-462 of the Education Act 1996 sets out the law on charging for school activities in schools maintained by local authorities in England.
The DfE has issued guidance to help governing bodies, school leaders, school staff and local authorities set out their policies on charging and remission for school activities and visits.
