Learning Beyond the Classroom
We acknowledge the immense value of educational visits to young people, and fully support and encourage those that are well planned and managed. Learning Beyond the Classroom has a vital part to play in meeting the demands of a broad and balanced curriculum, and in achieving the goal of preparing young people for life beyond school. Effective schools have always used educational visits, residential experience and activity in the local area of the school and school grounds as an integral part of their whole-school approach.
