Sexual Health is a personal matter, but the more facts Young People know about it the better. Schools have an important role in providing Young People with the right information about how to look after themselves, how to stay safe, making the right choices and how to access services for more specialist information and support.

Local Services for Children and Young People in North Yorkshire

Information and support on Young People’s sexual health can be sought from the 5-19 Healthy Child Service Team and the Prevention Service Team in your area. NHS Choices also provides helpful resources and further information on a range of sexual health topics.

Sometimes it is important for Young People to speak to someone individually and YorSexualHealth, the North Yorkshire wide service, provides confidential, free and friendly services that are available to everyone.
