Introduction

North Yorkshire’s children’s services are ‘outstanding’ in all areas. Using our experience of working with other local authorities we are able to provide effective support and guidance across a range of services, including:

  • quality of practice framework and approaches, including case reviews and internal audit support
  • Edge of Care including preventative strategies
  • developing and running an outstanding ‘Front Door’ service, and successful multi-agency working
  • creating residential and edge of care services with embedded specialist roles such as police, clinical psychologist and speech and language therapists
  • analysis and support to make changes within your fostering service
  • developing a leaving care service to support young people into adulthood
  • reviewing Virtual Schools arrangements to identify strengths and areas for effective provision
  • restorative practice approaches
