Tuesday 17th October: National Apple Day

Bring your class to the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate for a FREE interactive session to learn all about amazing apples! Take a tour of our Orchard to discover how our UK varieties grow, then use the fruit to taste, make juice and create tasty apple treats to take back to school.

Inspiring English and Maths with Seasonal Food – Christmas themed

This course will use seasonal food to inspire learning inside and outside the classroom. We will get hands-on preparing dishes, tasting produce all the while exploring how these activities can deliver and enhance your Maths and English teaching. Grant Applications:

For projects including taking pupils on farm visits and developing school grounds for wildlife and growing. Under £500 applications will have a quick decision but over £500 needs approval by the committee (application deadline dates below)
