GovernanceSchool governors have a wide range of responsibilities. They are responsible for planning a school's future direction and are also accountable for the performance of the school.
In this section you can find information and guidance on the recruitment, development and management of school governors Governor Support is responsible for the appointment to all Local Authority Governor vacancies. Governors are also actively recruited through an application process and a Register of Applicants is made available to schools to assist them in their own governor recruitment processes.
